Hey Ma'am! My name is Linda Jay and I'm a makeup and skincare enthusiast! I love to encourage women to be who God created them to be and teach them how to polish their pretty.
I'm self-taught, I've been a guest artist at a salon and I've volunteered my services with a local charity. I've worked with a Grammy nominated artist and was the head makeup artist for a South Florida fashion show. I've worked as the makeup artist for nationally televised events. I was the Production Assistant and Makeup Artist for a web series based in Miami, FL. And I've been featured in Hope Magazine.
By God's grace, I've successfully launched two exclusive eyelash collections and two beautiful eye shadow palettes. I have a ton of skincare and makeup tutorials on my YouTube channel. I'm a self-published author. I've hosted countless webinars and corporate symposiums. And I'm just getting started.
What You Can Expect...
Whether it's a word of encouragement, a neat beat or gorgeous glam, Ma'am, my goal is to help women love who they see in the mirror. Over here, we keep it clean and keep it cute; very polished and very pretty. I'll be sharing everything I've learned (and am learning) in the beauty industry. I'll also be sharing some insight on this ever-pivoting journey of entrepreneurship and how I'm simultaneously walking through several different -hoods with Christ.
Final Thoughts...
God has given me many talents and I don't want to keep hiding them like that guy did in Matthew 25:25. I want to be like that guy in Matthew 25:16 who doubled his master's ROI. I'm grateful for His patience, favor and mercy in this season. My life, both personal and professional, is an example of what it looks like to be redeemed by Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. May His name be glorified and magnified through Makeup And A Message (Ma'aM).
